In high school, Libby decided to find out if she wanted to turn her childhood hobby into a career. She went to work for Gloria Jones, Incorporated, an interior design firm in Jackson, Mississippi. She worked with Gloria for three years. During that time, she gained some very valuable real world work experience and decided interior design was her calling.
After high school, Libby entered the interior design program at the University of Southern Mississippi in Hattiesburg. She attended college full-time and worked for York Developments where she worked on many different kinds of projects including interior design, community development planning, and ???. Libby continued to work for York Developments after earning a Bachelor of Arts of USM in 2001.
