Paige York
Paige York was awarded a Bachelor of Arts degree, summa cum laude, in Journalism, May 1990 from the University of Mississippi. From 1990-1992, York worked in New York City in the magazine publishing industry. In 1994, she received her Masters in Business Administration from Harvard University Graduate School of Business Administration. Upon completion of Business School, York moved back to Hattiesburg to join her family's real estate development business.

Paige's focus has been in project management. She served as president of Trash Hunters, Inc., a solid waste development and management company that merged with USA Waste Services, Inc. in 1998.

She also managed all of the development activities of the sequel to Canebrake --- Canebrake Golf Community - a 350-lot residential community, and Canebrake Golf Club, an 18-hole golf course and 20,000 square-foot clubhouse with three dining venues, golf shop, locker rooms, meeting rooms and state-of-the-art fitness center.

York was active in the Hattiesburg community having served in the highly-esteemed position of Chair of the Area Development Partnership - a tri-county nationally recognized economic development organization.
